Objective of the program: Students in the 3^rd (or higher) year of law universities and faculties to be involved in professional activities of lawyers and strategic advocacy and impact activities under the guidance of lawyers and attorneys, review their understanding of legal proceedings, identify issues that affect public interests, resolve such issues through strategic advocacy and impact activities so as to establish the best practice.

Stages and duration of the program:

•    Preparation.

Organization of orientation seminars between 15 August and 15 September 2021 and providing professional and methodological advice

The teams to develop their strategic advocacy plan (project).

•        Selection.

Between 15 September and 30 September 2021

Selection of the best projects and confirmation of the teams

Mentor law firms to select a team to guide and supervise.

•        Implementation of projects.

Between 1 October 2021 and 1 June 2022 

Selected teams to implement strategic advocacy and impact activities under the guidance of mentor law firms, to be involved in impact activities and legal proceedings to have their cases resolved, and to report the outcome

•        Supervision and monitoring.

Monitoring will be implemented during all stages of the program.

Organization of the program: 

Students in the 3^rd (or higher) year of law universities and faculties will participate in this Program forming their team that includes a leader and other members. There is not any restriction on the total number of team members. The teams are allowed to have an instructor.

The teams should prepare their projects in accordance with the approved template and submit the following documents. These include:

•        Application of team members;

•        Introduction of an instructor, if any;

•        Copy of student ID cards;

•        1 copy of photo of each members;

•        Contact details of practical training center of relevant university.

Financing:

            The teams will receive support with respect to stationery, communications, notary, state stamp duty payments, and experts’ expenses (if required).
